Sherman M4 A1 76mm Weathering hull in progress.

Il lavoro sullo Sherman prosegue.Per prima cosa ho simulato l'usura della vernice con vari toni di verde applicando la tecnica del chipping con l'aiuto di piccoli pezzi di spugna.In seguito ho iniziato la fase dell'invecchiamento vero e proprio usando polvere di pastelli per artisti e colori ad olio in particolare Terra D'Ombra Naturale,Terra Di Siena Bruciata e Ocra Gialla Pallida della Maimeri.Quest'ultimo colore si è dimostrato veramente efficace per riprodurre l'effetto polvere.Nella parte anteriore e in quella posteriore ho riprodotto il fango secco applicando sempre con l'aiuto di piccoli pezzi di spugna in successione i seguenti colori Humbrol 29 Matt Dark Earth e Humbrol 94 Matt Brown Yellow.

The work continues on the Sherman.First I simulated wear of the paint with various tones of green by applying the chipping technique with the help of small pieces of sponge.Later I started the stage of weathering using powder pastels for artists and oil paints particularly Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna and Yellow Ochre Pale.The latter color has proved really effective to reproduce the powder effect.In the front  and rear I reproduced the dry mud always applying with the help of small pieces of sponge the following  colors in succession Humbrol 29 Matt Dark Earth and Humbrol 94 Matt Brown Yellow.
